As one of the best anime/manga adaptations, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will have concluded Konoha's ninja epics in style. Between epic fights, where the most striking scenes of the manga are faithfully transcribed, and a breathtaking realization in cel-shading, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 could not end so brutally. It is therefore with joy that we discover the DLC "Road to Boruto", which retraces the events of the film Boruto. Good news for those who land on the game with the DLC since the latter can be played without even having to complete the Adventure mode of the game. A good point for the most impatient who would like to play directly with Boruto and his friends. If you have already seen the film, you will not be out of place by attacking directly with a fight between Sasuke and Kinshiki Otsutsuki. An enticing appetizer allows you to fully attack this new part of Naruto.
NEXT GEN'
As for the "Adventure" mode, you will have to evolve in the city of Konoha, always faithfully transcribed. In addition to the main missions, which retrace the events of the film one by one, you can indulge in many secondary quests. Although repetitive, the latter can considerably extend the lifespan, some even offering a fairly high challenge. We think in particular of the virtual reality combat simulator, which allows Boruto to face the emblematic characters of the manga. Admittedly, these are just classic fights, but the need to finish each match in S rank should give players a hard time. In addition to these quests, Boruto will also have to lend a hand to the inhabitants of the village, in exchange for more or less useful rewards. Unfortunately, the repetitiveness of the missions does not really make you want to complete the DLC at 100%, but the most keen players should find their account there. Count about three hours to complete the main scenario which will easily go to five hours if you take the time to do a few side quests.

It is finally at the level of the fights that Road to Boruto manages to express all its potential. If the film had managed to show off, it would be almost tempting to say that the game has surpassed the original material. Served by an ultra-efficient combat system, the fights allow you to better appreciate all the techniques of Boruto but also of Naruto and Sasuke who come back even stronger and more experienced than ever. Without spoiling the players too much, the final fights with Kinshiki and Momoshiki offer splendid visuals which only confirm one thing, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is indeed the most beautiful video game adaptation of a manga. To top it off, PC players can now enjoy a 60fps mode, which allows them to fully enjoy the frenetic combat action.
BIG STORM IN VIEW!
On the roster side, the latter is expanding to accommodate Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki. Each character has their own techniques, all of which benefit from excellent execution although Sarada's secret techniques may tend to be too reminiscent of her mother's moves. On the other hand, Boruto can count on really stylish techniques that give a facelift to the Rasengan that we all know. In addition to the new characters and their different move-sets, Sasuke and Naruto have the right to a little refreshment, just to stick with their new status as the most powerful ninjas of their time. We simply regret that Momoshiki and Kinshiki are not offered as playable characters, especially when we discover the devastating attacks of which they are capable. Unfortunately, you can only touch with your eyes, which is really frustrating. Small consolation prize for those who had not fallen for the Season Pass since some of the costumes and special characters, like Mecha Naruto, have been included in Road to Boruto.
