After a long period of waiting, mobile and PC gamers can finally experience the all-new Diablo Immortal. While mobile players were granted 24-hour early access, PC players can finally join the party and go on an adventure in a Sanctuary plagued by the forces of evil. After choosing a character class that suits you, it's time for you to take your first steps and start decimating hordes of monsters with your skills before you bend down to the ground to pick up all those nice shiny pieces of equipment. . If you're new to Diablo Immortal, we have some tips and tricks to share with you, which we'll let you discover below.
☆ Note – If you are still at the stage of choosing your class and you don't know which one to take, take a look at our dedicated guide which will hopefully help you make the right choice: Which Class To Choose For His Character In Diablo Immortal.
Tip 1 – Enable the option to automatically pick up items:
As you decimate the hordes of demons that swarm throughout the sanctuary, you will discover new items and pieces of equipment. There are three types of rarity, normal, magic and rare items. No matter the rarity in fact, you will want to collect them all for the simple and good reason that you can have them dismantled by a blacksmith to obtain in return improvement parts or enchanted dust which will be used to improve the different pieces of armor and weapons that are equipped on your character.
Collecting everything manually can quickly become tiring, so the best thing is to automate the thing. To do this, go to the Diablo Immortal settings in the "general" category and activate the three options "normal", "magic" and "rare", which will allow you to activate the automatic recovery of objects when they are fall to the ground.
Tip 2 – Wait a bit before collecting the rewards from the codex:
In the Diablo Immortal codex, you will find a guide where you must complete a whole bunch of objectives to obtain bonus rewards like battle points which allow you to gain levels in the battle pass and XP which serves everything simply to level up your character. While it is tempting to collect the reward as soon as an objective has been reached, it would actually be better to wait a bit.
Indeed, it will sometimes happen that the story of Diablo asks you to "increase the level of your hero" before being able to continue the quest... Well, know that the XP obtained in the challenges of the codex adapts according to of your level. You will therefore earn much more by claiming it at level 40 rather than at level 20. So keep this precious source of XP on hand in case of need.
Tip 3 – You can transfer upgrades from one piece of equipment to another:
In your first hours of gameplay, you'll go through the blacksmith to upgrade your various pieces of gear only to realize ten minutes later that you've finally found something better then regretting spending resources upgrading a piece by particular. Good news, do not throw away your old equipment that has been improved, do not dismantle it either! When you find a piece of gear that looks better than the one you have equipped, you can press the "equip and transfer" button to transfer all upgrades and socketed gems to your new gear.
Tip 4 – Choose the best time to use your healing potions:
In groups, the demons of Diablo Immortal tend to do a lot of damage... In a panic you might be tempted to use a potion, then two, and why not, the three that are in your supply. This is a serious mistake! We advise you to manage this aspect of the game well. For example, you regain all your life points when you level up. If your XP bar is almost full, it's worth killing two or three mobs around you to gain that level and regain all of your health rather than wasting a potion.
Bosses and elite enemies also have several life bars, as soon as you make them lose a life bar they must drop healing vials on the ground that you can pick up to restore your health (you don't have to to recover everything at once, they will not disappear any time soon). To regain potions, you must kill a certain number of enemies or open chests.
Tip 5 – Don't forget to collect your daily reward:
Every day you connect to the Diablo Immortal servers, remember to go to the in-game store and check the "pack" tab to find a chest to open for free that contains various rewards. This Daily Reward Pack will allow you to randomly obtain Gold, Enchanted Dust Salvage Materials, or even Sparkling Shards. These are precious Diablo Immortal materials that will allow you to improve your equipment more and more and therefore make your character class more powerful over time.
Tip 6 – Use Relays and Fast Travel:
You might tend to forget it, but at any time you can open your map and quickly teleport to another location. In the different destinations of the sanctuary that you will explore, you will have the possibility of unlocking relays. All you have to do is open your map and select a particular relay once unlocked to go there immediately.
Similarly, you can click on the small blue icon in the shape of a vortex that appears at the bottom right of the MAP to quickly return to the city of Westmarch or to teleport to a safe area. Note that when you return to town, or to a safe place, you recharge your resurrection stone, which has two charges. Using this feature of the game will always be better than using automatic navigation to go to a specific location. Note that when you return to Westmarch, your portal remains open allowing you to return to where you were before going to the village.
Tip 7 – Killing a bunch of enemies without interrupting earns you bonus XP:
If you've ever played Diablo, you already know the trick. For new players, know that the more enemies you kill in a row in Immortal, the more you increase your killstreak. A long slain demon combo can benefit you. Indeed, the longer the chain, the greater the xp bonus received at the end of the fight. If you are aiming for the max level of your character quickly (which is level 60 as a reminder), then keep in mind that this method will allow you to earn some bonus XP points without forcing too much, especially given the number of enemies. that may appear on the screen.
Tip 8 – Take the time to visit Westmarch to reap all possible benefits:
After completing the Ashenvale Graveyard quests and defeating the boss at the bottom of the Mad King's Breach, you'll teleport to Westmarch. Before continuing your quest, we strongly recommend that you get used to this place which serves as a "central hub" for players. First, check the bounty board daily and agree to everything on it. Bounties are a good way to earn XP quickly in Diablo Immortal.
Similarly, take an interest in the ancestral and probationary flaws that are found in the main square. The former can be modded with Rare and Legendary Emblems to increase the quality of loot and chances of finding Legendary pieces of gear. The second fault called probation puts you to the test, you will have to complete different levels. Each time you manage to pass a level, you can move on to the next level knowing that the difficulty of the place increases accordingly. Many rewards are to be unlocked in Diablo Immortal Rifts.
