In the realm of gravity
Even though it's been out for several months, Mario Kart 8 was one of the best-selling games for Christmas 2014, so it was time for a complete update through a little walkthrough.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch
In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, there is far less unlockable content than in the original edition. All cuts are available, as well as the different difficulties. However, there are a few things to unlock.
Unlock Karts, Wheels and Sails
You can unlock new vehicle parts by collecting coins during different races. Every 50 coins you will unlock a new item. There are a total of 75 items to unlock this way, so you will need 3750 coins.
You can find a list of vehicles and their stats in our guide.
Unlock Gold Items
There is a Kart, Wheels, Sail and Golden Mario to unlock. They all unlock in a different way.
Mario in Or: Complete all cups in 200cc by finishing first with at least one star.
Map and Or: Complete all Cups in Mirror mode by finishing first with at least one star.
Gold Tire: Beat all developer ghosts in Time Trial.
Parahcute in Or: Accumulate 10.000 gold coins during your games.

Unlock the Gold set
Yes, in Mario Kart 8, you will be able to wear your circuits all dressed in gold! For the complete outfit you will therefore need the gold glider, the gold tires and of course... the gold kart.
Unlock the Gold Kart:
you must finish all cuts with (at least) one star.
Unlock Gold Tires:
You are going to have to beat all the ghosts that are in the game on all 32 tracks.
Unlock the golden parachute:
You will have to collect the trifle of 10.000 parts during your shopping.
PS: When you win a grand prize in MK8, you have a number of stars assigned based on your performance on the 4 circuits of the said grand prize:
1 star: If you accumulate at least 54 points over the 4 races
2 star If you accumulate at least 57 points over the 4 races
3 star If you accumulate at least 60 points over the 4 races
Unlock Miiverse Stamps
Mario Kart 8 also allows you to unlock small stamps, just to add a "collectible" side to the game. There are 90 to collect in all. For those "basic", 30 are devoted to MK8 pilots and 32 are devoted to circuits (excluding DLC). For the others, we will reveal all this to you a little later.
Unlock character stamps:
Win any Grand Prize with a character (and you earn the corresponding Miiverse stamp for that character).
Unlock circuit stamps:
Beat the ghosts that are basic in the game, on all circuits (one stamp per circuit of course).
This recap guide is only the first of a long list dedicated to Mario Kart 8. Whether for the different characters, or the different circuits, God Of Tricks is about to offer you a lot of content on this game!
