Now that you know all the basics of Pandawa, what do you think of a little more advanced guide for the high level?
Now that we have seen Pandawa Basics, their specificities and their role in PvM, we will now see which routes and which play styles are best suited to play in high level (Level 150+).
Pandawas need mobility, scope et initiative to place their spells properly (Vulnerability, Pandawasta, Dread, Pandanlku, as well as all their strike spells, all of which have modifiable range except Pandatak and Schnapps), and therefore need four important things: MPs, range, initiative, and escape/tackle.
For pms, there are not 36 solutions:
- Boots Pm, Exo Pm (Object on which we add a PM when there shouldn't be any (Like a Gelano Pa/Pm))
- MP Trophy, and Emerald-X Dragoturkey (All Emerald/Emerald Dragoturkeys and something will necessarily give +1MP +X vitality + other stat (depending on the coupled race) at level 100) however, two types of turkeys are "viable" in PvM: Emerald and Rousse (+1 MP +300 vitality), as well as Plum and Emerald (+200 vitality +1 MP +1 Gold).
An PA/PM gelano (The PM is in blue because it is an exotic smithmagic)
High level Pandawas (150-190) can be played in 5Pm (no less) but from level 190, the 6th PM (Maximum number of MP) then becomes an essential for all dungeons, because it's an even number, which allows you to put yourself back after moving, and that's very important.
You will notice that the Plum and Emerald Dragoturkey has two characteristics that we are looking for, 1Pm and 1Po. It is therefore the Plums et Emerald which is generally chosen for Pandawas (Some opt for Almond and Emerald (+1 invocation + 1Pm +100 vitality +100 initiative) but I do not recommend it. The loss of vitality and Po compared to a Plum and Emerald n is not compensated by the initiative gain)
La second feature important is therefore the range. In Dofus, the maximum range bonus is 6. I recommend having at least 4 range on a Pandawa. We will therefore choose items / trophies giving scope. Some sets have a range bonus, it may be interesting to turn to these sets.
Finally, the troisième feature so is the initiative. The initiative will allow your Panda' to start the fight on your side. He will therefore be able to place all your characters on zone boosts (generally centered around Masqueraiders/iop/eni, cross boosts). But the fact that the Pandawa has the initiative also makes it possible to block (or at least delay) the monsters on their side from the start of the fight.
The initiative are obtained in different ways: Items giving initiative, trophies, items giving simple characteristics (as a reminder: 1 point of a simple characteristic (Strength, Intelligence, Luck and Agility) increases your initiative by 1 point. An item giving 50 strength and 50 intelligence therefore increases your initiative by 100 points) and candy (not recommended, expensive and lasts only 5 fights)
Alright, now that we've seen what we need to look out for in our stuff, let's see what's available to us.
I propose here a basic range, it is up to you to complete with items that seem appropriate to you.
At level 150, there are two choices for me: Soft Oak set, only for the MP bonus of the set and the class panoply. I would opt for the class panoply. The Pandawa set is, like all class sets, unique. By this I mean that no item gives characteristics.
Why take it then?
Simply because each item will have effects on your spells. Add PO to such a spell, deactivate another's line of sight (it can be used through walls), deactivate casting in line of stabilization, increase the number of critical hits of a spell, reduce the AP cost of Wrath of Zatoishwan, etc. In short, it's a utility set, when you have all the items equipped, the bonus of the set is really appreciable. I let you be the judge:
It consists of: Chapeau, Cape, Anneau, Boot, Belt.
Stats a little below the other panos in terms of vitality/characteristics, but the contribution of 10% resistance and the bonuses of each item make this panoply really forte.
This is my opinion, for a Panda who has to play in a team, nothing prevents you from playing with a Moowolf Set (which gives a total of 2 PAs 1 MP 3 Range) or other (like the Soft Oak), if you want it.
At level 177, a set imposes itself : that of the Tengu Givrefoux.
Yo!
items (Hat, Cloak, Belt and Boots), a Pano bonus of 6 MP which makes it possible to reach the 3th MP quite easily (1 basic + 1 boots + 1 set bonus + XNUMX Dragoturkey).
In addition, the Leakage bonus given by each item is really interesting, because it will allow you to have a certain mobility in relation to monsters (indeed, with the flight and agility conferred by the set, few monsters at this level will tackle you).
It's a Fire/Air Set that will allow you to take advantage of the explosive flask.
It is important not to change items too often, it is a waste of money. A set remains viable (at this level) for about fifteen (or even twenty) levels.
From level 195, you will have access to the panoply of the Fuji Frostfoux. The best set in the game at this level, without a doubt.
Why ?
4 items (Ring, Boots, Headdress and Cloak), 2MPs, 1Pa Pano bonus, 2 Range, a lot of initiative (300/500 on the headdress 200/300 on the ring and 400 Set bonus) and above all, a lot of acted and grounded stats. You will therefore have a big rox, while being very mobile and fleeing.
What class the fuji headdress!
Then it gets complicated. Arrived at level 200, the choice of outfit is so large that you can do whatever you want.
At this level, you will (hopefully) have the skills to choose which elemental paths you want to choose.
Note however: The pandawas use their melee very little, the gluttonous set (2 rings and 1 sword, 7% resistance in all elements, pano bonus of 1 Pa) pairs very well with many 200 sets (such as the Strigid for the rox, the Barbetoal, Queen of Thieves, etc… There is something for everyone!)
Personally, I find that the Barbétoal-gloursonne panoply is a good range combination, water/air, which combines two important elements of the Panda', water for distance spells and air, for the tackle/flight. Only downside: a somewhat weak initiative.
The Queen of Thieves panoply combined with the Gloursonne set is also a good alternative, although a little more PvP oriented, because of the total absence of any flight/tackle/initiative/PO bonuses and the critical resistances it grants (resistances useless in PvM ).
The most used panoply is the combination Danathor/Sinistrofu, a lot of initiative, mass PO, and the possibility of using class boots (using the three Danathor items + the sinisterfu cape). Very good pano for PvM, to use in full vita if you have a team that hits behind, or in ~ 250 luck and the rest in vitality.
For your information, you should know that I play as my main class a Pandavas since now 8 years, I participated in several Goultarminator, and have many PvP matches (Kolizéum, 5vs5 or 1vs1) under my belt. I also passed all the dungeons of the game. I offer here my experience and my knowledge in order to help beginners as well as good players, so that they can improve!
