NBA 2K22 was just released a few weeks ago, and with it, a lot of players are wondering how to change their 2K22 affiliation. Affiliations can be very important to some players, and with four of them it can be easy to land somewhere you don't want to be. Luckily, the process is extremely simple and shouldn't take players any time to switch to a new one.
Go to the town hall in front of the city you want
First, players must decide which 2K22 affiliation they want to join. Once decided, go to the town hall in front of the affiliation you wish to join. Enter through the front posts and up the stairs, where you will encounter 2 security guards. Here, all players need to do is speak with the security guards, where the above menu will appear. Press the on-screen button to join the Affiliate you are looking for and boom! You are now officially part of the new affiliation and have left the old one!
It's worth noting that once a player changes affiliation, 2K22 resets all repetitions and character progression. With that in mind, players should only switch affiliations late in the grind, only if they really want to. We recommend switching early to minimize the amount of lost progress, as it's incredibly valuable and time-consuming. Note that even after the change, the game may take a little while to catch up and move you to a new spawn point, so be patient and don't stress about it.
