The more you progress in the quests of Disney Dreamlight Valley, the more you will be able to build new houses in order to welcome the most emblematic characters of Disney who will settle in the valley. This will allow you to unlock decorative items for your personal house, the one entrusted to you by Merlin the enchanter when you arrived in Dreamlight Valley. Unfortunately, your small house will quickly show its limits, for lack of the necessary space to succeed in stalling all the furniture in a 10m square...
Luckily, you can upgrade and even expand your home! Increase its size, build new rooms, redo the facade and many other things. However, the game does not clearly explain how you can do all this... This guide is there to allow you to enlarge and improve your house very simply.
☆ Note – To have a bigger house in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you will need to collect a certain amount of gold. We have a guide for you that will allow you to earn money quickly in the game. It is available here: Disney Dreamlight Valley Guide How To Get Star Coins (In-Game Gold / Silver) Fast.
What do you need to do to expand your house in Disney Dreamlight Valley game:
To be able to expand your house, you will need to complete several Scrooge quests. The first is “grand reopening of Scrooge”. For this quest, you will need to craft and place billboards in several locations on the island. You will then have to collect 2 dandelions and 2 purple rising penstemon (which can be found everywhere) to make two flower pots that you will have to place in front of his store. When this quest is finished, talk to Scrooge again and accept his quest “Dreamlight Valley Economics Course”. You will need to sell Goofy 7 gems at his stand.
The gems are obtained on the veins found in the recesses of Dreamlight Valley. When you complete this task, Scrooge will let you know that he has installed an elevator in your house. As soon as you have crossed the landing of your house, turn left to take the elevator. You can then choose to expand your house for 1000 gold coins and then a second time for 2000 gold coins.
★ Note 2 – To add rooms to your house, you will need to upgrade it. You can do this with the construction sign that will have appeared in front of your house facade (make sure you complete Scrooge's “Dreamlight Valley Economics Class” quest). you will obviously need a lot of star coins to keep upgrading and expanding the rooms in your house.
