Fall Guys disappearing from Steam, what changes for PC players?
Those who already own a copy of Fall Guys Ultimate Knockout from Valve's digital store will still be able to play the game and will continue to receive updates on the same basis as other platforms, transitioning to the Epic Games Store for the PC version does not change anything at this level. Those, on the other hand, who want to download the game on PC from June 21, 2022 when it becomes “free for all” will have to do so from the Epic Games Store if they do not already have it on Steam.
Fall Guys will no longer be available for purchase or free download on Steam for new players in favor of the Epic Games Store. Many users are beginning to wonder about the future of DLCs that are on sale on Steam. Without an answer from Mediatonic on this subject, we can imagine that they will disappear from the platform just like the game. acquisition before their deletion. You have until June 21, 2022 to do so! Remember that if the game and DLCs disappear from Steam on this date, you will still be able to play and download Fall Guys content if you already own it.
And crossplay with others then…?
There's a lot of confusion in the cross-play threads. Yet Mediatonic was clear about this. Crossplay and crossprogression will be supported on all platforms. Steam players will therefore not be isolated from the rest and will be able to play against those who have the “free” version on Switch, Xbox, PlayStation or PC.
