This guide tells you how you can get all badges/accessories and other insignias in Grounded survival game. You can then equip them to your character. Each of these objects will grant your character beneficial effects, but also certain penalties in return. Some objects are in a specific location on the map (those indicated in this guide) while others are obtained randomly from enemies or by breaking certain elements of the decor.
To be able to collect most Grounded accessories, you will need to have progressed well in the story, at least enough to be equipped with a level 3 axe, a level 3 hammer, but also have the equipment necessary to make scuba diving. As you will have understood, good equipment is essential to obtain all the equipment in Grounded.
★ Note – To collect all types of props in Grounded, you will need to complete the “Black Ant Lab” quest and collect the Keycard from the Assistant Manager, one of the bosses to fight in Grounded. This card is essential to reach certain places in the game!
Obtain the Compliance Badge:
You will be able to collect the Compliance Badge from a skeleton on the ground that is between the house and the hedge. In this place, you can see an old audio cassette from the 80s and a cable connected to a socket. Search the skeleton on the ground there to get the Compliance Badge.
→ Item effect: + parry healing / – damage resistance.
Obtain the defense badge:
In the forest where there is mold, the place that normally requires wearing a gas mask (in front of the fog lab). Blow up the lab door with a bomb and engulf yourself until you reach an outside area where there is dirt and old tree roots. Then walk along the outer wall of the lab to find a skeleton in a corner against the earthen wall. Search it to get the defense badge.
→ Effect of the object: + Resistance to damage / – attack damage.
Obtain the biomedical badge:
To retrieve this item, you will need a level 2 shovel. Go to the sandbox and dig where the sand shimmers to dig up a skeleton. You can pick up the biomedical badge from the corpse.
→ Item effect: + Regeneration / – food conversion.
Obtain the toxicology badge:
For this badge you will need a snorkel and possibly fins. You will have to go deep into the depths of the lake. First follow the pipe underwater towards the bubbles that rise to the surface. You will come across the Abyssal T-Rex at the bottom of the water (you can get the spear level 2). Continue on your way to find a submerged lab and you will find at the end of the road by entering inside the long pipes the toxicology badge.
→ Effect of the object: + filtering / + protection against dust / – resistance to poison.
Get the trainee badge:
To be able to collect the Trainee Badge, you will need to be equipped with the Level 3 Axe. When you have it, head into the garden between the orange juice brick and the toy car. Nearby you will find the cap of a jar. Slip below to reach a secret cave. You will need to destroy the roots blocking your path with your level 3 axe. Further on, a skeleton has dug in to grab the trainee badge!
→ Item effect: + heavy load / – movement speed.
Obtain the entomologist badge:
To collect the next badge, head towards the barbecue area. You normally need the antlion outfit and its bonus to avoid heat damage, but you can also go without by dashing to the skeleton's position in a corner of the floor area to pick up the insignia of entomologist.
→ Effect of the object: + attack / imperfect parry block.
Obtain the Claw Whip and Rotten Berries Spell:
To collect these two objects, you will have to go near the brick wall. You will have to climb it by placing several ladders on top of each other or by dropping from the top area with a dandelion if you have one. The goal is to reach the entrance to a secret lab which is in the crack between the stones. You will have to destroy the stones with a bomb! Once inside, grab the Claw Whip and the Rotten Berries Spell.
Obtain the left elf and right elf charm:
At the start of the guide, we added a note for you that you must have completed a certain story quest and obtained the access card on the assistant manager. To recover the left elf charm from Grounded, you will therefore need this famous access card. If you have it, dive into the lake (near the T-REX) to see a room submerged in water. You will access it by opening the "door of a pipe just below". Further, you will have to present the card of the resp. assistant which will allow you to recover your first charm. An item to combine with the Straight Elf Charm to craft Sarah's Charm.
In the area at the very top right of your map, walk along the tree and when you see the iron pipe protruding from the ground, jump inside. Beware the fall ! Best to have a dandelion with you to break your fall and get down the pipe safely. Once down, jump the crevasse to reach a chest that contains the right part of the elf charm. You will be able to put the two parts together once you manage to upgrade the outfit and get the black widow dagger to level 3 which requires killing a certain number of spiders to get their poison.
→ Item effect: invincible shield.
Obtain the droplet of power:
To find the Power Droplet, go to the Calculator and Coffee Maker level. You will need to climb the coffee maker cable and make sure to land with your dandelion on the ivy leaves that climb along the wall. This will allow you to reach the upper right area of the coffee maker. Go along the left wall all the way and halfway, let yourself fall between the wall and the platform on which you will run. Below you will find a bag containing the power droplet. It is still advisable to make security backups before attempting to recover this object.
