In this guide, we show you where all Grounded defending stations are and how you can get a powerful weapon in return. By activating the machines, you will make waves of insects appear. You will have to fight infected ladybugs, mites or even worse, woodlice and tiger mosquitoes...
The goal is to hold the position long enough for the “MIX.R” or “Super MIX.R” machine to complete its job without being interrupted/destroyed by waves of enemies. The best thing is therefore to try to ensure that the insects which arrive en masse focus on you so that they forget the machine in operation which is nearby.
★ Tip – you can protect MIX.R machines by building around them, which will make it easier to focus on incoming waves of enemies. Doing this kind of preparation is not a requirement during the overdrive phase of a MIX.R machine, but we advise you to do it anyway. When you switch to the "Super MIX.R" machines, building protective barriers will be very useful!
Protect all Grounded "MIX.R" or "Super MIX.R" machines to get the Slapper weapon:
Each time you manage to protect a “MIX.R” or “Super MIX.R” device to the end, you get a certain number of raw science points. Upon completion, you'll unlock the "Mini Mix-o-tron" achievement which involves defending all "MIX.R" and "Super MIX.R" from Grounded.
For the ultimate reward, you can open a secret room in your hideout or you can grab 20 Supreme Quartzite Shards, 20 Supreme Marble Shards, 20 Rugged Marble Shards, 20 Rugged Quartzite Shards, 20 Plush, and 20 Chunks from a chest. rust... And finally, placed on a nearby chair, you can retrieve the powerful weapon called "Slapper". This seemingly basic weapon has the particularity of producing electricity when you charge your weapon. You will be able to see its full power against the terrible black widow spiders!
