Frankly, nothing predisposed Fetch, aka Abigail Walker, to become the star of inFAMOUS, not even the time of a DLC. However, despite her not very attractive physique and her depressive punkette look, bordering on the verge of suicide, Delsin Rowe's great friend has had the spotlight on her for a few days. It must be said that her passive had something to interest the players who remember her for having passed on the power of neon to our handsome kid in the fashion cap, one of the coolest of Second Son. It is therefore through a tormented story that we will get to know Fetch more in depth (no pun intended) and understand how a wearer like her was able to develop her hatred towards a society that ultimately only wanted her forfeiture. That said, beyond a fairly well-constructed scenario, it's above all a good excuse to return to Seattle and have fun for a few more hours with superheroes.

Overall, inFAMOUS: First Light doesn't really change Second Son. The gameplay has remained the same, the playing field too, while the graphics remain as attractive as ever and are still among the most beautiful on next gen consoles today. Moreover, the developers have thought of automatically integrating the "Photo" mode which still allows players to make their own screenshots in the game and thus see that the game is still as fine visually and remains one of the most beautiful. on next-gen consoles. Otherwise, we can therefore have fun with the powers of Abigail, therefore centered only on Neon. Obviously, after the wide range of different abilities that Delsin enjoyed, it is quite frustrating to settle for only one power here. Luckily, Fetch's Neon differs somewhat from Delsin Rowe's, in the sense that a few new things make their appearance. Indeed, by developing its skill tree, Fetch can, for example, turn enemies and turrets against their camp, which can be very practical in times when the opponent is outnumbered. Likewise, our heroine has a special attack different from the one we could have in Second Son, which is sure to attract the attention of demanding players like us. For the rest, we navigate on known ground with the possibility of tracing like a ball in the city, while leaving behind us a beam of light of the highest class, running along walls, placing a short moment in the air, swinging projectiles and icing on the cake, hitting the ground with a fist, which will have the effect of cleaning up around the point of impact.

The pleasure of play has therefore remained intact with inFAMOUS: First Light which thus offers a lifespan of 3-4 hours in a straight line and around 5 hours for those who want to go all the way. A fairly honest content for this stand alone sold less than 15€ for download, while the boxed version will cost 5€ more when it is released on September 10th. In fact, what is likely to make Second Son regulars cringe with this First Light is the lack of really captivating missions to tell themselves that we are dealing with a real slaughter. The missions are indeed far too repetitive and often not very captivating for us to be able to make good memories of them for the next 10 years. Escort mission, snipe, elements to find here and there, we feel that the developers did not really want to worry too much. It is all the more regrettable that no boss intervenes during this unpublished story and that the choice of morality between Good or Evil has been ousted for scriptwriting reasons. We appreciate the consistency, there's no problem, but in terms of gameplay and gaming pleasure, it doesn't matter after having benefited from the full potential of Second Son. In truth, First Light is a good way to enter the world of inFAMOUS for those who do not yet know the license and who would be tempted to discover it in the sweetest way possible, even if on the show side, we always take full eyes…
