Test Welcome to the Ch'tis

Test Welcome to the Ch'tisIn Welcome to the Ch'tis, you will choose to play Antoine (Dany Boon) or Philippe (Kad Merad), in a "goose game" style board game. Faced with one or more opponents, your goal will be to cycle through the city of Bergues to deliver mail to the populace, doing your best to finish your tour before the other competitors. Movement on the board is done logically thanks to a throw of the dice, which will make you move forward on the different squares of the course. Depending on the color of these boxes, you will have to either distribute your letters (which is good), or collect others (which is annoying). Some boxes will offer you to take part in a quiz entitled "Question for a Ch'timi" in which you will have to demonstrate your knowledge of the film (such as "What is the color of Antoine's shirt in the Belfry scene? "). Others will give you access to mini-games (rifle shooting at cats, Ch'tis spelling contest, reflex game using the Wiimote...). It would therefore be difficult to make it simpler.

    Take out your biloutes!

Test Welcome to the Ch'tisThe concept itself being rather old-fashioned and not really thrilling on paper, it will be difficult to be enthusiastic once the game has started. The graphics are ugly, the gameplay almost non-existent, the inexplicably long loading times given the nature of the game, the sound universe (composed of "hein" and "biloutes" launched by Boon's voice) rather unbearable and the software suffers above all from a lack of appalling fun. This is all the more surprising for a product designed a priori exclusively for multiplayer games. We will never take an ounce of pleasure from participating in one of the challenges offered here, and in the end, the only reason that could motivate us to distribute all our mail would be that it would mean the end of a game. At the same time, to quickly end a game, we invented the "power" button. On Wii, this button is even placed on the controller, you don't even have to get up... After a few games and a certain time of reflection, it seems obvious that Welcome to the Ch'tis on Wii was only thought for hardcore fans of the film, those who have seen it 10 times in theaters and who have already offered the DVD in duplicate to everyone around them (yes, it exists!). We are not even convinced that those will find their happiness there. A peak!
