You can craft bonuses on your different Assassin's Creed Odyssey equipment. This will allow you to perfect your style of play.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey takes over the weapon system of Origins, simplifying its crafting and improvement mechanics. If it is impossible to manufacture your own equipment, it is however possible to craft bonuses on all the equipment available in the game, whether weapons or armor.
Improve your equipment
To improve his equipment, you just have to go to any forge in the game. They are usually located in towns and villages. By using the Upgrade option, you will be able to level up your gear to match your current character level, for a few drachmes, fer, In theobsidian and skins.
The higher the difference in level, the higher the price will be. The rarity of equipment also affects the price of each level, legendary items are extremely expensive to upgrade.
Upgrading armor improves the effects and stat bonuses already on the gear.
Crafting gear bonuses
Also at the forge, you can use the Burn menu to add bonuses to your gear. These bonuses can take the form of pure stats or new skills. However, it is only possible to add one bonus to a piece of equipment. You won't be able to fully customize your dream stuff.
Crafting a bonus will cost you drachmes, fer and precious stones. The amount changes according to the level of the equipment. You should therefore consider whether it is better to add a bonus or improve the equipment first, depending on your available resources in order to reduce the total cost.
How to get bonuses to burn
You can't burn anything and everything in your equipment. The list of bonuses is long, but they will only be available if you have unlocked them. To view the list of your available bonuses, simply go to the inventory menu and press the hammer icon next to your bag.
You will be able to see all the bonuses you have and those you still have to unlock. On the left side of each icon are small black or white squares, indicating the current level of your bonus. By placing your cursor on a bonus, you will see the conditions to unlock it or improve its level.
Legendary Bonuses
Some bonuses cannot be upgraded, as they provide special abilities. These bonuses are unlocked by finding legendary equipment. It is mainly by killing members of the Cult that you can obtain these rare bonuses. Other legendary equipment is the subject of quests. Some gear is just waiting for you to find it in the wild, like the Spear of Poseidon that lets you breathe underwater.
