Chapter 3: The Snake in the Grass
To find Elpenor, you will have to use deduction. Nikolaos' last words were about the serpent lurking in the grass and this animal clearly refers to Elpenor.
If you study your map, you'll notice that to the east of Phokis is a place called the Valley of the Serpent. This is where Elpenor dwells, in a temple just north of the region's synchronization point. If you were wondering why all these references to the snake, you will quickly have your answer: the temple is surmounted by the remains of what seems to be a giant snake, several tens of meters long.
In this temple patrol 7 members of an obscure cult. It is advisable to kill them first, if possible discreetly, so that they do not come to lend a hand to Elpenor again. The latter is at the bottom of a cave, which overlooks time. Ikaros will have no trouble locating him.
Go kill Elpenor. The latter will give you some last information before passing away, speaking of a mysterious cult that would want your life and that of your mother.
