Discover the best way to collect Money in Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
Dance Assassin's Creed Odyssey, you will have to collect the drachmes for many reasons. Whether it is to buy or improve equipment, money ultimately remains the sinews of war. Some quests even require you to spend more than 15.000 drachmas.
Here are some tips for raising money quickly:
You will find a lot of money and treasures in the different tombs of the game. Each tomb has a secret passage to discover by destroying a wall, which will lead you in a series of dark and labyrinthine corridors, full of rooms and chests. To make sure you don't miss a beat, use Athena's vision skill which will highlight all the places where you can pick up objects. Don't let any pot escape your attention. The majority of the pots contain around 60 coins, but since there are several dozen pots, you will accumulate money very quickly. In addition, some of them contain between 500 and 3000 gold coins.
The problem with this strategy is that once a tomb is plundered, it cannot be plundered again. To ensure continued income, you are going to have to use your ship.
The best way to continuously earn Drachmas is to sell high-level gear. To get some, you can chain the naval battles taking care to launch boarding and recover all the chests. You will find a lot of ships off Messara or in the South West part of the map. It is however a strategy that will require you to have a very robust and powerful ship.
There is a slightly more complicated method, but which can be used indefinitely, to raise money, whatever your level.
The safest technique is ultimately to take advantage of the war between Athens and Sparta. Storm the forts of a region by killing as many soldiers as possible (especially the elites who have equipment that you can sell), burn the food and loot the national treasury each time. By completing all the forts in the same region, you should have caused enough trouble to trigger a Conquest Battle. Intervene in the side of the attackers to get better rewards and money. Once the region has changed rulers, start your tour of the forts again.
