In Smash Bros Ultimate, he is a fast fighter, capable of performing powerful combos after performing one of his grabs. Shadow Ball | |
| Fires an energy ball. The more the shot is loaded, the more it is wide, powerful and repels opponents. | |||

| Uses psychic energy to knock down an opponent. Can also reflect projectiles. | |||

Teleportation | |
| Instantly teleports a long distance. The direction of the teleportation depends on the inclination of the stick. | |||

| Look an enemy in the eye to paralyze them. The attack does not work if it is used in the air or if the opponent turns their back on you. | |||

Psychic Strike | |
| Mewtwo uses his Mega Evolution to become Mega Mewtwo Y and launches a projectile that immobilizes opponents before knocking anyone in contact with it into the air. The shot passes through the ground, walls, and opponents, making it very effective against multiple enemies. | |||
