| Pichu is the pre-evolution of Pikachu that appeared in the Gold and Silver versions. In Smash Bros Ultimate, it copies Pikachu's moves, but has much different properties. Using a special attack deals damage to Pichu, so use them sparingly. He is also the lightest character in the game, by far. | |||

Thunder | |
| Launches a ball of electricity that bounces along the field. The ball goes faster than Pikachu's. | |||

Coud'Krâne | |
| Charges an attack throwing Pichu to headbutt. The fully charged attack does more damage than Pikachu's. | |||

Hurray Attack | |
| Moves at very high speed. Can charge a second time by changing the direction of the stick during the first move. Unlike PIkachu, Pichu does not deal damage with this technique, but is invulnerable and travels a longer distance. | |||

Fatal lightning | |
| Summons a huge lightning bolt that shoots down vertically. Pichu takes even more damage if hit by lightning. | |||

electacle | |
| Pichu changes into a ball of electricity that orbits all around the field. If an opponent is hit by this attack, they remain trapped in the ball and take constant damage. Pichu also gets injured during the attack. | |||
