| Ridley is the sworn enemy of Samus Aran and one of the most iconic bosses of all Nintendo franchises. It was claimed by the Smash Bros. community. for over 20 years and it finally makes an appearance in Smash Ultimate. This is an ultra powerful character, capable of inflicting up to 50% damage in a single attack. He is however very big and punishable, if he misses his attacks. | |||

Plasma Breath | |
| Spit out balls of plasma in a curved path. Can be charged to fire a stream of plasma. | |||

Space Pirate Assault | |
| Knocks an opponent to the ground and drags them a long distance. Pressing the stick up or pressing the attack button throws the opponent forward. | |||

Winged Blitz | |
| Charge upwards and soar through the air with force. The trajectory can be adjusted. | |||

Skewer | |
| Stabs forward with its tail. Enemies hit by the tip of the tail take massive damage and are paralyzed for a moment. | |||

| Ridley charges his opponents and sends them to Samus' ship. He then spits out a devastating beam of plasma which explodes them. This attack can hit two opponents at once. Players who have more than 100% damage after the attack are immediately knocked out | |||
