Three years after the release of the Sword & Shield episodes, Nintendo and the Game Freak teams are preparing to introduce players to the ninth generation with the Pokémon Scarlet and Purple games which are expected exclusively on Nintendo Switch at the end of 2022. The closer we get to the release, the more we will learn new information about these two versions, which promise to be more open and free than ever if we are to believe recent statements from the teams working on them.

At the beginning of your adventure, you will have the choice between Poussacha, Chochodile, Coiffeton which are the three starting pokemons. Which means that once you catch one, you won't find the others in the wild. However, you can still get them and their evolutions by trading with friends who also own a version of the game or with other online players around the world who will travel the Scarlet and Violet region just like you.
