A new hidden feature (and quickly discovered by players) has been added to the contagion mode of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War for season 3. This feature allows you to skip the first rounds, i.e. that you can go from round 1 to 3 and therefore not play round 2 by performing a very simple action when you play in contagion. When you reach the beacon site to travel to the next round, we strongly recommend that you gear up as much as possible by upgrading your weapon rarities and upgrading your armor, as the enemies will suddenly be much more powerful, obviously by jumping sleeves!
How to skip rounds in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War contagion mode:
Play the objective as you normally would and when you get to the beacon that normally grants you access to the next round, choose the "travel" option and during the ten second countdown, hit the machine with a knife or shoot it with your improved weapons, especially on the sphere which is above the machine to mess up its operation. An ominous siren will sound and your journey through the Dark Aether to your next destination will go badly enough that you'll simply skip a round. This trick will allow you to speed up your start to the game, but be careful, it no longer works after round 5...
Which means that you can skip rounds 2 and 4 or 3 and 5 depending on when you decided to break the machine. It's not much, but it's still time to win when you start the first rounds of the contagion mode (zombies) of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. This cheat will give you quicker access to the DCD Secret Weapon and its new ammo upgrades (variants) just as you will find the Laser Pistol easier by going further up the sleeves.
★ Note – Even if you don't haywire the travel beacon to skip rounds, and you attempt the Easter Egg on round five or six, it won't work. You must do this before reaching round 5.
